Ring Size Guide

Find your US ring size at home, and learn how band width and metal change the fit.

We make rings in whole US sizes—no half sizes—and each product page shows the sizes available for that ring. Use one of the two methods below, then check the chart.

What you should know

Method 1: measure a ring you already own

  1. Choose a ring that fits the finger you want to wear the new ring on.
  2. Lay it flat on a ruler and measure the inside diameter in millimeters, edge to edge.
  3. Find the closest inner diameter in the chart.

Method 2: measure your finger

  1. Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger.
  2. Mark where the paper overlaps.
  3. Lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters. That is your finger circumference.
  4. Find the closest circumference in the chart. Make sure the size can pass over your knuckle.

Tips for an accurate size

  • Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are warm—fingers are smaller in the morning and in the cold.
  • Measure two or three times; if you get different results, use the larger one.
  • If you are between sizes, choose the next size up.

Band width changes the fit

Wide bands, such as 8 mm wedding bands and signet rings, cover more of the finger and feel snugger than a thin band of the same size. If you normally wear a fine ring, consider going up one size for a wide band.

Tungsten rings can’t be resized

Tungsten is extremely hard, so tungsten rings cannot be resized after they are made. Please check your size carefully before ordering a tungsten band.

FAQ

Do you make half sizes?

No. We make whole US sizes only. If you are between sizes, choose the next size up.

What ring sizes do you offer?

Available sizes depend on the ring. Many of our women’s styles come in US 5–8 and many men’s bands in US 8–13; each product page shows the exact sizes.

Should my ring be tight or loose?

A ring should slide over your knuckle with a little resistance and feel snug, but not tight, at the base of the finger.

How do I find someone’s ring size for a surprise gift?

Borrow a ring they wear on the same finger and measure its inner diameter, or trace the inside of the ring on paper. If you are unsure, choose the larger size.
